Dr Felix Rueppell

Qualifications: Dr.med. (PhD) , FRNZCGP

German/English language.

I grew up in Hamburg, Germany, where I completed my medical training at Hamburg University in 2002. Prior to moving to New Zealand in 2006 I gathered experience in General Medicine, cardiology and intensive care while obtaining a PhD in orthopedics.  I formally trained in General Practice in Christchurch and became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2012. I love the wide variety of primary care, always curious to learn from patients and engage in shared, informed decision making. I provide a calm, professional environment and maintain a holistic approach to ensure patients feel empowered and in control of their health and wellbeing.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, trail running, skiing and most things outdoors.

Availability - Monday 8:15am - 12pm, Tuesdays to Thursday 8.15am-5pm

Ich bin in Hamburg aufgewachsen wo ich nach dem Studium der Humanmedizin und Promotion 2002 für weitere vier Jahre Erfahrung in der Inneren Medizin, Kardiologie und Intensivmedizin gesammelt habe. Ich bin 2006 nach Christchurch gezogen wo ich 2012 meine Facharztausbildung in der Allgemeinmedizin (General Practice) abgeschlossen habe. 

Gerne biete ich auch Sprechstunden in deutscher Sprache an.
